Another site to use to research families in Beresina, Bessarabia, Russia is:
http://www.grhs.org/rig/bess/research.htm Some of the research data there is
available only to members of GRHS, but much is open to the public. If you
check the Koblenz records (which I believe are open), these are records of
families that came out of Bessarabia and re-settled back in Germany (via
Poland) during WWII. Many of these include Ahnentafels that go back to when
the family first got to Bessarabia...and would include origins in Poland if
the family came from there....which might connect to families that stayed in
Poland.
