Mauricio,

Most Lutherans would have registered at the 
nearest Lutheran Church if there was one, 
especially for marriages.  But sometimes if there 
was a Catholic Church closer, they would register 
a birth or death there.  Since you have no other 
options, you may as well try the Catholic records.  You might get lucky.
