Hello Rob,
did she mention a railway station? The settlement surrounding the
railway station of Biala, 10 km wnw of Wielun, is called Biala Kopiec.
This means in German Weißer Hügel (white hill). Of course white means
bald (kahl) too since it refers to the white color of the sand.
