[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] real people?

      My mother is a Gruenke, so if the ? in Gr?nke stands for u-umlaut
 I'm interested.   

      How old was the father Ferdinand in the book? There's a Ferdinand
 Gruenke in my family, born 1834 in Zgierz, living in Protowka in Volhynia
 in 1870. So he'd be 80 at the time of the deportation.
