Thank You Jerry...the locations all make sense. After I posted the question,
I also asked my parents the Silno (a) question. They said Silna is another
smaller town in the vicinity of Luck as you have said. They used some Polish
descriptions like: Gemena of Silna, Poviot of Luck, and described Gemena like
a post office kind of description. So I think depending on the record keeper,
and the information being given by the person, these discrepancies exist.
It is a great help to have someone locate the place and then we see they are
really one and the same!
