[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Province of Kovno?

Hello Chris,
yes, very different. Kovno is Russian for Kaunas, present district 
capital and former capital of Lithuania (some 360.000 inhabitants). In 
the Russian Empire (since 1795) it was a gouvernement capital and fortress.
