[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] FEEFHS conference in Edmonton in June

Just a quick reminder of the two major events happening in Edmonton this summer.

The Federation of East European Family History Societies is having a conference there in June, and the Society for German Genealogy in Eastern Europe conference will be in Edmonton in August. The two events will be quite different in content and scope, and will complement each other quite nicely.

The FEEFHS conference, which will be co-sponsored by the Alberta Genealogical Society, will feature speakers such as Thom Edlund, Larry Jensen, Kahlile Mehr, Irmgard Hein Ellingson and Ceil Jensen. These people will bring a vast amount of knowledge about Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and other parts of Eastern Europe. There will also be tours of museums and archives in the Edmonton area. The conference will be held from June 16 to 18.
