I just subscribed to this mailing list and want to introduce myself. My
name is Wolfgang Lieske and I am from Germany. I am searching for
information about my ancestors. My grandfather Edmund Lieske was born in
Wydumka/Shitomir. His wife was Amalie Kissman who was born in
Alexandrowka/Wladimir-Wolynsk. I am searching for informations about the

The parents of Edmund Lieske were born in Emilienheim, now known as
Michalinow(a), Poland. I hope to find someone who is also searching in
this direction. I found some old posts from Kay Schoenwald Shariff from
Wyoming from 1999-2003 who was searching for the same names, but no luck
yet contacting her on the email adresses ashariffwy at aol.com,
kschoenwald at juno.com or ksharif at trib.com . Maybe she is reading this
list or anyone with a suggestion how to contact her? Thanks for your
