[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Lying about age on ship's passenger list

Your talking about ages in the census records. Remember that information
was not always given by the person or some one close. Suppose they did not
speak English and someone else give info, they could be guessing, or if the
enumerator knows the family he could fill in information himself and not be
accurate. Of course, some people did lie about their ages and what amazes
me is that lots of men lied.
