[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Family names question - Daniel Becker

Thanks for more information.  I haven't find Daniel or Rosella's marriage yet.  I've tried North and South Dakota records.  I was going to try mailing the records office in California since my aunt and dad were born there in 1924 and1926. I will also mail Oregon records for Daniel's death certificate.
 
My mom remembers that my dad said his grandfather lived with them at one point and Wilhelm sounded familiar. Ths would have been in the mid -30's. There is a Wilhlem and Caroline in Eugene Oregon in the 1930 census with younger children and the age for Caroline is right. 
 
I went for the Black Sea German book as my grandmother's parents lived in the areas of South/North Dakota associated with names I found for immigrants from the Black Sea area.  We know so little about my dad's side of the family that I'm trying to cover all bases  as a starting point.
 
Any suggestions for a newbie on how to tackle so many sources of information and potential relatives?

The place on the draft registration card seems to be Novin, Wolilien,
Russia - probably as misspelling of Wolhynia.  - This is not in the Black
Sea area.

On the 1909 Ellis Island manifest Caroline is 37 years and 'left behind' her
brother Gottlieb Zottermann (or something like that) in Germany.

I appears Caroline Becker and family were meeting up with her husband
Wilhelm Becker in Eugene, Oregon.  It also appears they were travelling with
a friend of the family, Gottlieb Gerth, going to the same place.

>From this bit of information I would say the father is Wilhelm Becker and
mother is Caroline Zottermann?
Do you have the marriage records between Daniel and Rosella - his parents
names maybe records on it, or in the orginal church records.  This woulld
confirm the parents names.  Do you have the death record of Daniel as
registered - this may also give his parents names and confirm the link.
