Lydia Richter from Germany is researching the following families, 
some of whom migrated to unknown locations in North America.  I am 
separating several different family groups for clarity.  If you can 
help, let me know and I will provide her mailing address.  I do not 
want to post it to a public forum.

Amalie Schroeder (nee Springer) born 10 Jan 1892? in Blumental, 
Zhitomir married to August Schroeder, born 29 Dec 1887 in Blumental.

If I interpret her letter correctly, she left her husband and three 
children and went to either the States or Canada with another man, 
name unknown, c.1915-1917.  The children were raised by Amalie's 
sister, Julianne, who later married August.  The children were:

Agathe Schroeder born 13 Jul 1909 in Blumental (grandmother of Lydia)

Adoline Schroeder born ? 1912 in Blumental

Anastasia Schroeder born 15 Apr 1915 in Blumental

My father's aunt:

Amalie Listau (nee Pallas) widow Ewert born 14 Jan 1887 at Neuborn, 
Tschernigow, Zhitomir

Her mother Julianne Pallas (nee Renz) born 18 Aug 1857 in Dolner 
Buden (Dolnaja Buda), Kreis Sarschay?

Her father August Pallas born 1853 in Poland.

Marriage took place in Gombin but the letter is not clear if this 
applies to Amalie or to her parents.  I suspect the 
latter.  (Note:  SGGEE databases show a Pallas family living in Dolne 
Budy, Gostynin Parish)

Last heard from in 1952, living in Saxony (Gorlitz?).  She believes 
Julianne died there.

Children of Amalie, believed to have gone to North America:

Sophie born 06 Geb 1926 in Neuborn

Elvira born 03 Feb 1928 in Neuborn

Karl Miller, born 03 Oct 1873/75 in Gruntal, Pulin, Zhitomir.

Lydia Miller (nee Karius) born 1885? in Gruntal

Her brother Ernst Karius born 1879? in Gruntal.

Son-in-law of Karl is Arnold Dahlke, born 19 Mar (1973 written but 
obviously impossible) at Sorotschin, migrated to North America, 
probably Canada.

He had a daughter from his first marriage, Irma Dahlke born 12 Oct 
1939? in Zhitomir

Great uncle of Lydia's husband:

Ferdinand or Friedrich Scheriederik from Volhynia, migrated to America.

His parents Friedrich Scheriederek (or Scheriederik) and Wilhelmine 
(nee Kuhn), both died in 1928 in Blumental, Zhitomir.

Siblings of Ferdinand / Friedrich:

Reinhold, Julius, Julianne (Neumann), August?, Caroline Mittelstadt, 
Emma Hildebrandt and Hermann, born 12 Feb 1889 in Blumental, and 
(erschossen = beaten to death?) in Zhitomir, 17 Dec 1937.
