[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Surname BURG - Help in finding information

Greetings - does anyone have any information on either of these two BURGs?  Are either of them on any of your family trees? 

Attestation documents from the Mobilization Centres for the Canadian Expeditionery Force of WW I - 

First one was signed on 12th February, 1918 at the Mobilization Centre, London, Ontario by George BURG,  address: 815 East 95th Street, Cleveland, Ohio.  Born in Polish Russia on 14 January 1898.  Mother is Ellen BURG of Smoky Lake (Post Office), Alberta   (TOA 3C0).

Second one was signed on 11th February, 1918 in Toronto, Ontario by Edward BURG, address: 1204 Austin Ave., Chicago, Illinois.  Born in Toronto 27 July, 1878.  Next of Kin: Morris Curran (brother) of 1204 Austin Ave., Chicage, Illinois.
