    As everyone settles in after what was I'm  sure, a very informative 
convention, I need to pick some of your brains for  advice.  After having my
one 
key record translated, I still sit at square  one.  The marriage record that

should have provided me with the parents  names for one individual, did not.
I 
now still have a gap for Michael Dill  from his birth in Rogowko, Prussia to

his marriage (1819) in Komorowo,  Poland.
    I have a record for a Michael  born in Rogowko in 1793.  This date 
matches all the ages given for  him in his children's birth/baptism records
as well 
as his death.  Many of  you have warned me of this type of thinking and I of

all people live by the hard  evidence of an actual record.  When do we take 
into  consideration circumstantial evidence.
    
    In this one instance, my most critical  record, was the most vague.  I 
have 100 years worth of records that sit in  a pile, waiting for me to put
in 
order, but I cannot.  Genealogy for me in  the past, has been a hobby, now
it 
has become more like a passion.  The  meaning of genealogist should read, 
"patient person".  For those of you who  have been doing this awhile, I'm
sure my 
circumstance is familiar.  
    I would like to ask all the kind "patient  people" on this list for your

advice.  You have always come through for me  in the past.  Thank you.
