Here's another saying from Poland. One of my cousins remembers
this from her mother, who got it from our grandmother. Grandma
was born in Russian Poland - near Chodecz - and immigrated to
Chicago as a young woman.

Wer nie kommt
Der richtig Zeit,
Er muss essen
Was |brig bleibt.
\brig ist nicht gebleiben?
Morgen essen Wir wieder.

A rough translation:

Whoever doesn't come to the table at the right time must eat what
remains left over. Is nothing left over? Tomorrow we eat again.
