[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] John Koenig b. Nov. 1827 in Kallish/Kalisz,Poland

Did anyone else in your family live that long?  It would be an interesting study to find that out.  As far as the name of the location, it could be spelled Kalicz in one part and Kallisch in another part; depending where in the locality he lived.  I am not sure in the 1800s whether there was a standard way of spelling it.  You might check the library.
