[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Stawiszyn and Ostrow Poland

I have found my GGG grandfather Carl Kindler born in Ostrow Poland in  1766.  
I have found him having children in Stawiszyn Poland in 1809.   I haven't 
been able to find his marriage to Joanna Saling.  Since Ostrow  appears to have 
been a small town in the mid 1700s, would anyone familiar with  the town know 
where the people migrated from?  Why would they have moved to  Stawiszyn?
 
Any information on either of these towns would be appreciated.
