This e-mail is in response to your reference inquiry directed to the
Geography and Map Division's reference e-mail account - maps at loc.gov.

As of November 1, 2002 this e-mail account is no longer receiving
inquiries.  

All map and/or cartography related reference inquiries
submitted to the Geography and Map Division must now use the Library's
new Ask-A-Librarian web form at
http://www.loc.gov/rr/askalib/ask-geogmap.html    

Please note that the new web form allows the Library to serve its
constituents more effectively and in a  more timely manner.  To assist
in this process we ask that you provide as much information as possible
in your request, including a mailing address, in the event that have
reference materials to send via surface mail.  (The extra step of
contacting patrons for individual mailing addresses significantly delays
our ability to respond to inquiries in a timely manner.)
