I agree with Dick that Slabutkaj = Slobodka.
As for which one, it turns out there is even a third one just a few km west
of Novograd Volynsk. To get a better idea of which it is, you need to view
the original St. Pete records to determine the sequence of the villages
listed for the births before and after the Slabutkaj reference. For
example, if you found a baptism record for Nikolajewka, then Slabutkaj, and
then Murawa - you could safely assume it was Czernicka-Slobodka /
Slobodka-Tschernizkaja southeasterly from Novogrod Volynsk. Some other
sequence might direct you to one of the others.
