[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Need info

    It is pretty well accepted that post 1885 Volhynian records (up to WW1)
are in the St Petersburg archives.  They were sent to St Petersburg under the
same St Petersburg Consistory requirements as were the pre 1885 transcripts,
however in the the Russian language.
    It is my understanding that the Genealogical Society of Utah has
endeavoured to arrange a filming program with the Russians but have
encountered difficulties.  What the exact status of present negotiations for
filming, if any, is not not known.
    It should be understood the _original_ Lutheran church books are, as a
rule, not in St Petersburg.  The St Petersburg holdings are only truncated
transcripts of the original church book entries which were sent there annually
by the pastors of the various Lutheran parishes of the St Petersburg
Consistory.  The original Lutheran St Petersburg Consistory church books that
still exist for Volhynia would likely be found in various state archives in
Ukraine and Poland.
    Perhaps someone else who has done so, can explain in detail a procedure
for requesting copies of records from St Petersburg or from Polish and Ukraine
archives as well as the approximate cost involved.

and
  Wolhynien). How does one research time span of 1895, 1898 and 1901.2 and 3
