Here is George's page:

I have a link to it from my site. It shows a Birma from Libau in May 1912, but that is six months too late.

Hi Dave:
For interests sake, I met a chap from Calgary, who is busily indexing Canadian port ship's passenger manifests, German names only.
He spoke at a German Cultural Festival I attended about a month ago. I am presently trying to contact him to obtain more details and possibly ask him to our 2003 convention in Edmonton.

If you're not sure of two of the key points, you have a fair bit of work to
do. In any event, no ship named Burma arrived at Halifax in September,
October, November or December, 1911, and no ship originating in Libau landed
in Halifax in those four months, either.
The passenger lists covering that time period are available on microfilm
from the National Archives of Canada. They are not indexed.
