[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Volhynian events in Germany this year

Those of you who can understand a bit of German, and who might be planning 
a trip to Germany this year, may be interested in the following events 
being planned.


1.  Annual gathering of Volhynian Germans to take place at the town hall in 
Uelzen, Germany, September 21 & 22, 2002.  Attendance in previous years has 
ranged between 600-800.  Details about the program can be obtained from

2.  10th anniversary celebrations of the German Volhynian museum at Linstow 
in Mecklenberg, Germany on September 7, 2002.  Linstow was the final home 
for 73 families from the Roshischtsche region of Volhynia as a result of 
the resettlement programs following WW II.  The museum has a web page with 
a few pictures, at http://www.wolhynien.de/linstow.htm .
