Regarding your comment about the Wysokie Register, do you have the address
of the Civil Registrars Office in Warsaw?
Also, are there other such civil registers in Polish Volhynia? I am
interested in the area around Boratin, just north of Torczyn.

These various village records apparently are included in the Wysokie
Register of the Zabuzanzki collection at the Civil Registars Office in
Warsaw ; by contacting the nearest Polish Embassy in Germany you might be
able to obtain this birth certificate. I believe they have the birth records
from 1900 to 1924.
