<p>Has anyone heard of something my Dad calls (phonetically) "kruschken"</p><p> </p><p>He says it was a fruit that grew wild in the bush, was something like a pear and got mushy if you left them too long.  They were round like a crabapple.  His mother canned them. </p><p> </p><p>Rita Lyster <br /></p>
